“When he came and saw the grace of God, he was glad, and he exhorted them all to remain faithful to the Lord with steadfast purpose.” – Acts 11:23 (ESV)
A constant topic of conversation with our church planters is missional engagement—how to reach their community for Christ. To do this effectively, planters prayerfully evaluate who they are, the gifts and abilities of their team, and the unique needs of the city or town where they serve. This is what makes each APEX church distinct—God has placed them there, for such a time as this.
One of the key questions we explore in training is this:
“How has God uniquely gifted you to reach the people He has called you to?”
We help planters process this deeply so they can stay focused and faithful to the mission God has placed on their hearts.
When Barnabas visited the church in Antioch, he saw the grace of God at work. What moved him wasn’t buildings or crowds—it was the evidence of transformed lives. That group of unnamed believers—ordinary people with extraordinary faith—ignited a movement that empowered the church for centuries.
That’s the kind of impact our planters long for. They want to reach their neighbors. They want to send missionaries to the nations. They want to disciple the next generation of Christian leaders.
